{Altar’d Home Tour} Entry

We have an exciting move coming soon- we are moving to Pearland from Huffman to shorten my hubby’s commute to work and to be closer to the other half of Altar’d, Rachael.  Rachael & I are very excited about finding our own warehouse/retail space in the Pearland area this May.  We are searching for the perfect place, and can’t wait to finally have more space to work and less furniture crowding our homes.  Before we move, I want to take pictures of our current home, and post a home tour.  The only problem is that with 3 kids {ages 11, 7, and 5} and 2 weenie dogs- our house is never all clean at the same time.  So, I’ll go room by room and eventually piece it all together. Don’t be fooled though, it may all look clean in pictures, but in real life my house is full of legos, stray fruit loops, folded laundry, dog bones, and lots of sticky floors.  We are real people too. :0)

  This gorgeous faux fur bench was painted & upholstered by my very talented friend Jennifer,

who owns Metamorphose Upholstery.

I have a wreath made from old hymnal pages hanging on the door, and a collection of things I love found from Estate Sales, Trade Days Markets, and silver plate from Goodwill.  I fell in love with this 3D rug at Walmart- their new Better Homes & Gardens line is full of gorgeous things- at Walmart prices.

  My fake plants there on the entry table look surprisingly real in person- and they were cheap at Ikea, $5.99 each.  And, because I am a professional plant killer, these are perfect for me.
