Mandie… I love your blog! And those are fantastic Pinterest finds. I try to stay away for the same reason… I just keep pinning and pinning and pinning. LOL! A group of us were just talking about that tonight.
Also, if you look at the pictures that you find on Pinterest that have already been pinned, if you click on the picture it will open up into a larger picture. There is a link where they found the original picture on the top right hand corner. Took me a while to figure that out too.
Keep up the awesome furniture makeovers. I bet you’ll find a lot of your stuff on there!
I am so enjoying your tips! So helpful to have information from an expert. I have a credenza that was my grandmother’s. It is so tired looking. Very dark and the finish has lost its sheen. It’s sort of like there is a gummy haze on it. Both my grandparents were heavy smokers so I’m sure there is residue from tobacco. I really want to refinish it (I know my husband will freak out!) and don’t know why I’m so hesitant to move forward. When I do though, I’m guessing that it will need to be sanded to get that haze off? I just don’t think primer is enough.
I love Pinterest but it is a time leach! I set time limits (sort of like I used to do with my kids when they were little!). I know if I don’t, I will sit at the computer all day long. Believe me, I’ve done it! If you can manage that part of Pinterest—you will love it’s usefulness!

thanxx for showing me pintrest, now i’m addicted THANX lol
I’m not able to see any posts past Oct. 17th. Has there been any? I was looking forward to the 31 days of Fabulous Furniture.
Very cool dressers. I might have to check out that faux bois tool, love the look.
Are there anymore 31 days of fabulous furniture?
